Born in 1974, Jennifer started learning the flute at the age of eight with Colin Fleming at the Ulster College of Music. At the age of 13, she was a finalist in the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition. From 1992-1995 she attended Clare College, Cambridge University where she was awarded an Instrumental Award Scholarship. Now living in London, Jennifer plays regularly with the London Soloists Chamber Orchestra and continues her freelance career playing with Royal Philarmonic Concert Orchestra, Irish Chamber Orchestra and the Ulster Orchestra. Opera work includes British Youth Opera and Opera Up Close both as principal flute. |
Hayley began playing the harp at the age of ten and in 1994 accepted a Scholarship to study with Skaila Kanga at the Royal Academy of Music, where she was awarded both the Renata Scheffel-Stein Prize and the Dorothy Day Award.Recent West End Theatre work includes My Fair Lady (Theatre Royal) and The King and I (London Palladium). Haylealso regularly works with the Moscow City Ballet (UK Tour) and Northern Ballet Theatre (Madame Butterfly and Wuthering Heights). Her orchestral work includes performances with The Philarmonia, The Oslo Philarmonic, the European Union Youth Orchestra, London Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and the English Symphony Orchestra. |
